In April 2014, St Aidan's Episcopal Church opened the Pet Food Cupboard.  Father Jim (aka Brother Peter pictured above) and Deacon Intern Sharon Jackson met with Deacon Lucinda "Pete" Dempesey-Sims from the Episcopal Church of the Ascension in Buffalo, New York.  Pete opened Ascension's pantry in 2011.

Father Jim and Deacon Sharon expanded the need for a pet food pantry in the Alden area.  The first day, we served six households.  Today, as many as sixty households are served every month.
